Our Practice

Richmond Spine Interventions and Pain Center was founded in 2001 and has been faithfully serving patients in the Greater Richmond Area over the past two decades. Our practice specializes in guided spinal injections and other treatments for a variety of painful conditions. In many cases, we can offer patients a non-opioid solution to treat their pain. 
Dr. Peyman Nazmi

Peyman Nazmi, MD

Dr. Peyman Nazmi is Board Certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center of New York in 1997. He is a graduate of the Medical University of Pecs in Hungary. He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Marc Caligtan, MD

Dr. Marc Caligtan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to gain both his Masters of Science in Physiology and Medical Degree at VCU Medical Center's Medical College of Virginia. He completed his Internship at Johns Hopkins University in the Sinai Department of Internal Medicine and his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Caligtan enjoys spending time with his children and wife. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, and playing basketball. He is also an avid fan of UVA athletics and NFL football.

Robert Rhoades, DO

Dr. Rhoades received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor degree in History. He received his medical degree at the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Rhoades completed his internship at VCU Medical Center in the Department of Internal Medicine where he also completed his Residency in Anesthesiology.

Zoraida Arboleda, FNP-C

Zoraida Arboleda is a Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Her internship ranged from Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Palliative Medicine and Allergy / Immunology. Prior to joining the the team of Richmond Spine, she worked full time as a Certified Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse for 9 years.

On her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, hiking, bird watching and sharing with family and friends.

Ms. Arboleda
Browning Dailey, NP

Browning Dailey, FNP-C

Browning Dailey is an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bon Secours College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her clinical internships included Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Perioperative Care. She also has experience in Acute Care, the Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, and Intraoperative Care. She served on the Graduate Honor Council at South University and is a member of the National Nursing Honor Society, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, & Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.

She enjoys spending time with her children, staying active, practicing yoga, dancing, and traveling.

Ms. Dailey

Omar Abdel Razzaq, NP

Omar Abdel Razzaq is a Board- Certified Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). he received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Jordan, and two years later he obtained his Master's of Science in Nursing from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Then he earned his Postmaster's degree from Walden University in adult gerontology acute care track. His clinical internship ranged from medical to surgical units. In addition, he has three years of clinical experience in acute care, and the Emergency department.

He enjoys spending good time with family, and friends, and playing soccer, his favorite sport.

Mr. Razzaq

Sydney Plum, FNP-C

Sydney Plum is an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated Cum Laude. Her internship experience ranged from primary care, rheumatology, and long-term care/ rehab. Her prior experience is in pediatric cardiac intensive care and pediatric intensive care.

She enjoys lifting at the gym, being outside with her dog, and trying new restaurants with friends in her free time.
